ABOUT
collection of Swedish composer Fredrik Klingwall's work over the last decade (1997-2007). From the very first darkwave demos to later filmmusic scores, alongside lots of rare and unreleased songs. With a strong leaning towards the cinematic and neoclassical, his music is dark, eerie and uneasy but with a beautiful touch. Limited to 500 copies in a 6-panel digipak.
IN THE MEDIA
Mick Mercer (Live Journal)
"There are no songs, no movements, just connecting pieces, drifting in very solid form and creating in the listener deep reflection and de-composure and what strikes me as seriously weird is though these pieces were recorded in various phases through a decade it all fits together very well. If you’re looking for something mournful yet richly picturesque I recommend this unreservedly."
SIDE-LINE
“Chronicles in decay” is a 100%
soundtrack composition where ambient
influences and neo-classical ideas are
melting together. I like some of the piano and organ parts,
but more than any particular instrument and/or sound I
especially like the dark, dramatic expression of this
production.
